These terms apply to the VoxHere macOS app and related online services. VoxHere is provided by Cao Shihao, trading as LimeBits.

1. Trial

VoxHere plans to offer a 14-day full-featured trial with no advance payment. Manipulating system time, local state, or device identities to bypass trial limits may result in restrictions.

2. Perpetual license

VoxHere v1 is planned as a one-time purchase. A valid purchase lets you keep using the 1.x versions you receive and includes updates released within 1.x. A future major version such as 2.0 is not automatically included unless explicitly stated.

3. Devices

One personal license allows two simultaneously activated Macs by default. Device replacement may require email verification, and unusually frequent transfers may require manual review. Licenses may not be publicly shared, resold, or transferred in bulk.

4. Payment and refunds

Paddle acts as Merchant of Record for payment, tax, receipts, and refunds. The standard price is US$39.90, with a US$29.90 launch price for 30 calendar days after public launch. You may request a refund within 14 days of purchase for duplicate or accidental purchases, installation or activation failures, or unresolved critical issues. This does not limit mandatory consumer rights. Use a real, durable email address: it is the primary channel for purchase proof and device security verification.

5. Restrictions

You may use the app personally or for your own work, but not to evade licensing, distribute malware, violate rights, or break the law. VoxHere is closed-source commercial software. Except where applicable law expressly permits, you may not copy, redistribute, rent, or circumvent technical protection measures.

6. Local data and backups

Local-first means important data mainly resides on your device. You are responsible for device security and appropriate backups. Uninstalling, disk failure, or deliberate deletion may remove local records.

7. Availability and liability

We maintain the product but cannot promise error-free operation on every hardware, OS, or third-party app combination. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
