Does VoxHere support English output?
Yes. VoxHere can output English and Chinese. Try your own speech during the 14-day trial before purchasing.
How does it learn new terms?
When you correct a dictated term by hand, VoxHere adds it to your local dictionary and also records the mis-hearing that produced it, so the same mistake is fixed automatically next time. This works for English technical terms and for Chinese homophones. It does not interrupt to ask: it learns, then shows a small card naming what it learned, with an undo for that batch. Everything stays listed and removable in Settings, and conflicting spellings are held for your decision instead of being applied silently. Learning data stays on your Mac.
Which apps does it work in?
Most Mac apps that accept text, including editors, browsers, chat, mail, notes, and documents. Secure input fields such as password boxes are excluded, and automatic learning may fall back to manual confirmation in some apps.
Does it need a network?
Core dictation works offline on your Mac. Update checks, license validation, purchases, model downloads, and feedback you choose to send need network access.
Does it rewrite what I say?
No AI rewrite is applied by default. VoxHere performs predictable cleanup such as spacing, punctuation, and confirmed term corrections.
How does the trial work?
The 14-day trial starts with your first successful dictation. There is no card up front and no word or recording-length limit during the trial.
